SAN
JOSE, Calif., January 23, 2002 - SiliconIran, the premiere business
and technology information source providing news, analysis, and
opinions on the high-tech industry for global Iran, hosted its annual
High-Tech Forum and Awards event Thursday, with more than 250 in
attendance for a night of information, networking and recognition.
"The
goal of this event was to provide a forum for technology information
sharing among the Iranians based here in Silicon Valley and throughout
the United States," stated Susan Akbarpour, CEO and Chairwoman,
SiliconIran, Inc. "We are also very pleased to award the top
performers on a number of merits."
SiliconIran
annually honors Silicon Valley-based companies that have successfully
demonstrated the ingenuity and business sense needed to succeed
in today's highly competitive market. The criteria used by SiliconIran
to determine the winners of each of the awards include a combination
of traits such as financial performance, market leadership, vision,
strategy, ability to compete in a worldwide market, a strong leadership
base and the strength of commitment demonstrated by employees to
their customers and community.
