SafeWeb
As
co-founder and product architect, Jim is responsible for development
of SafeWeb's core technologies. Jim and Michael Ibrahim (CTO) lead
a team of elite developers consisting of several Ph.D.s from Yale,
Carnegie-Mellon, and Berkeley, as well as graduates of Caltech,
the Indian Institutes of Technology, and the Institute for Physical
Problems, Moscow. Before attending graduate school, Jim developed
software for the robotics industry at Transition Research Corporation.
Robots interfacing with Jim's software are still operational today
in hospitals around the world. After obtaining his Ph.D., Jim served
as a research fellow at McGill university, where he worked on Quantum
Chromodynamics and numerical field theory. Jim holds a Ph.D. and
M.A. in theoretical physics from Yale University. He also holds
B.S. degrees in mathematics, physics, and electrical engineering
from the University of Connecticut.
