Nader Vasseghi

Mr. Vasseghi has 20 years of experience in technical leadership and senior management at Sebring Networks, 3dfx, SGI and AMD. He has led development efforts to deliver various products such as switch fabric products, graphics accelerators, MIPS high performance microprocessors, and Network Controllers. Prior to joining AuroraNetics, Nader served as Vice President of Switch Fabric operations at PLX, as a result of the acquisition of Sebring Networks, a start-up company providing adaptive switch fabric silicon solutions for communications and networking platforms. Prior to that, Nader was Vice President of Engineering at 3dfx, where he was responsible for design and development of all of company's VLSI product lines. Before that, Nader held technical lead and senior management positions at Silicon Graphics Inc. and AMD developing Network controllers and high performance microprocessors including the delivery of the 64-bit R4000, and R10000 MIPS RISC microprocessors.

Nader serves on the Technical Advisory Board of Scenix and Innologic, and chairs the IEEE ISQED conference. He holds four patents and has published several papers in the area of high speed VLSI designs. Nader received his MSEE from the University of Southampton, England, and his BSEE from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
