Chief Technology Officer, Vice President of Product Design, Founder of Cbyon, Inc. Prof. Shahidi is currently on leave from Stanford University where he continues to hold positions as Assistant Professor in the Departments of Neurosurgery, Surgery, and Electrical Engineering, and as Director of the Image Guidance Laboratories. He received both his Ph.D. and M.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering (Bio-Instrumentation and Biomedical Imaging) from Rutgers University, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University. He is an active member of the International Society of Computer Assisted Surgery, and has served as an ad hoc peer reviewer for the National Institutes of Health.
