Taraneh
Derak co-founded Yube along with her two partners Rajib Akhter and
Esmail Fahimi. Taraneh's main goal as President and CEO of Yube
is to lead the company's overall business operations and direct
its strategic vision to drive growth. Taraneh has 12 years of experience
in a broad variety of executive, managerial and engineering positions
in customer services. She most recently served at Marimba, Inc.
as Vice President of Worldwide Customer Support and Services where
she was responsible for building a world-class customer services
organization. Taraneh has built two customer services organizations
from the ground up and has gone through three successful IPOs at
Gupta, Edify and Marimba. Taraneh also worked at other successful
companies including Ingres. She received a BS in Computer Information
Systems from San Francisco State University
