Harry
W. Kellogg, Jr., is Vice Chairman of The Board
and Head of the Strategic Initiatives Group
of Silicon
Valley Bank.
He is responsible for the Bank's venture capital
activities, corporate finance, international
alliances, private banking, and eSource, the
internet resource center for entrepreneurs.
Mr. Kellogg is also a member of the Bank's office
of the Chairman and Managing Committee.
A
banking professional for more than 30 years,
Mr. Kellogg joined Silicon Valley Bank
in 1986 as Senior Vice President of the Technology
Division and was promoted in 1990 to Executive
Vice President. He has served the Bank in various
capacities and began the Strategic Initiatives
Group in October 1998. Prior to joining the
Bank, Mr. Kellogg was the Group Manager of Corporate
Banking at Bank of the West for five years.
He was also with Wells Fargo Bank for 13 years,
including four years in the Wells Fargo's Special
Industries Group, the high-tech lending unit
within Wells Fargo Bank.
Mr.
Kellogg is a member of, and on the boards and
advisory boards of, many civic and industry
organizations, including Workforce Silicon Valley;
Churchill Club; Association for Corporate Growth;
Tech Museum of Innovation; Silicon Valley Manufacturing
Group; Panasonic Internet Incubator Advisory
Board; and the Advisory Board of Selby Ventures.
