'ITF 2005'
Emerging Technologies (XoIP) & Diversity Leadership
Location:
Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club - Silicon Valley
Date: October 20 - 21, 2005
ITF 2005 focuses on the Internet Protocol as it is becoming the
common networking protocol for converged and emerging applications
(data, voice, video, messaging and additional applications) with
its inherent ability to separate network and service layers. As
these applications and services evolve, enhancements in the networking
layer and in the service development tools are important to support
these applications. Multi-Protocol Label Switching is an example
of a protocol extension required to support multi-network options
over an IP network. System Information Protocol is a recent, ongoing
example within the VoIP application.
As
the applications proliferate, more protocols and extensions will
be required. The goal of this conference is to discuss the topics
that affect important XoIP areas and the resources and investments
that are necessary to realize this potential.
In
addition to our technology panels, ITF 2005 will feature special
sessions with two outstanding academics from Thunderbird and Seattle
University studying the effects of translating leadership across
cultures. It is one of the most perplexing issues facing global
business leadership as effective leadership in one culture can
be disastrous to another.
